FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LOS GATOS, California – August 6, 2013 – HipLink® Software, a leading provider of wireless messaging and notification solutions, today announced it has entered into a software partnership program with Intel®. Intel® Platforms will support the new Windows® 8 user interface and existing desktop applications. Desktop applications can run with touch capabilities. A wide array of platform choices will be available based on Intel® Architecture for mobile professionals and students.
Pamela LaPine, CEO, commented, “This partnership will allow us to expand our markets by providing customers with additional mobile solutions that increase the efficiency of their IT infrastructure. We’ll work closely with Intel to provide solutions that impact the performance of the entire enterprise and simplify accessing data on various platforms.”
Michael Henkelman, Hiplink product development, added “We continue to be intrigued by the newest hardware from Intel with a focus on touch interaction with Windows 8. When we consider the last time an input device changed, we have to look further back in history to the mouse. With touch, users have the ability to interact with their computers in new and innovative ways. As a company with a rigorous development philosophy, we are excited to explore how our enterprise communications software can take advantage of touch. Having a partner like Intel make hardware offerings available to assist us allows us to develop sooner.”
