SAN JOSE, Calif., February 7, 2001 Semotus SolutionsTM (AMEX:DLK, formerly Datalink.net) today announced that the 3DO Company, a developer and distributor of interactive entertainment software, has selected Semotus Solutions as its vendor for wireless solutions to be used in monitoring 3DO’s network management system.
HipLink, a solution created by Cross Communications, a wholly owned subsidiary of Semotus Solutions, will be integrated with 3DO’s network management environment, NetIQ’s AppManager, to provide alert notification of system problems. HipLink will enable network administrators using AppManager to receive real-time monitoring system status remotely via wireless devices. Using HipLink, network administrators can specify which individuals or groups receive real-time e-mail or paging notification of network status or problems.
